- Elects 11 Executive Council members
Eleven Executive Council members of the Northern Broadcast Media Owners Association (NBMOA) were elected at the association’s annual general meeting, (AGM).
According to a press statement issued by the association’s Publicity Secretary, Rabiu Ibrahim, the AGM held yesterday at the Board Room of the Corporate Headquarters of Atar Communications Nigeria Ltd, (owners of liberty TV and FM radios).
The meeting, which was attended by other members via Zoom, deliberated and elected eleven NBMOA Executive Council members by consensus.
The members include amongst others: Alh. Ibrahim Dasuki Salihu Nakande (UnityFM Radio and TV, Jos) as Chairman; Ajiyan Yawuri, Alh. Abdullahi Yelwa – Deputy Chairman
(CaliphateFM Radio, Sokoto); Alh. Ali Babakusa (ExpressFM Radio Kano) -Vice-Chairman (N/West); Mohammed L. Yakub (GOTEL Yola) – (Vice Chairman N/East) and Mr. Steve Gukas -Vice Chairman (N/Central) and Alh. Isma’il Sani as Treasurer.
